Methodological standards in single-case experimental design: Raising the bar

This paper summarises the recent history of methodological quality considerations in developmental disability research and synthesises some of the recommendations found in the broader Single-Case Experimental Design literature.  The aim of the paper is to provide recommendations about essential standards for methodological quality. The authors argue that these recommendations can help researchers to improve the quality of their work and have a greater impact on the field.
